Fair Use Policy
Last updated:
Rules that keep NexusHost fair, secure, and available for everyone.
Accounts and alternate accounts
Use one personal NexusHost account per person unless the team has approved an additional account. Do not create, borrow, share, or rotate accounts to obtain extra free resources, referral rewards, promotional benefits, or other allowances.
Alternate accounts must not be used to evade a suspension, network restriction, moderation decision, or payment requirement. This applies to existing accounts and newly created accounts, including accounts with no bots.
Different people in the same household, school, workplace, or shared network may have their own accounts. A shared IP address alone is not proof that accounts belong to the same person. Contact the team if your legitimate account has been linked incorrectly.
Resource limits and shared hosting
Stay within the bot slots, memory, storage, network, and other limits shown for your account or selected service. Shared CPU and network capacity must be used reasonably so other users can run their services.
Do not use idle loops, fork bombs, repeated crash/restart loops, artificial traffic, or unnecessary continuous downloads to consume capacity. Fix a bot that repeatedly exhausts resources or disrupts other users. The team may stop or limit a workload to protect service stability.
Do not combine accounts to bypass limits or resell free capacity without permission. Paying for additional resources does not exempt a service from these rules.
Prohibited activity
Do not host malware, credential theft, phishing, token grabbers, cryptocurrency mining, DDoS tools, attack infrastructure, or services that facilitate unauthorized access.
Do not use bots for spam, raids, harassment, evading Discord enforcement, or other activity that violates applicable law or Discord's rules. Do not distribute unlawful content or collect personal information without an appropriate basis.
Do not probe other users' files or credentials, exploit NexusHost, bypass access controls, or intentionally overload our website, APIs, or hosting infrastructure. Report security issues privately through support.
Readable code and honest use
The custom code you host must be readable for an authorized moderation investigation. Do not upload obfuscated, encrypted, or deliberately disguised bot code to conceal what it does. Normal packaged dependencies are not, by themselves, evidence of abuse.
Do not submit false moderation evidence, impersonate staff, manipulate referral rewards, fabricate payment confirmations, or abuse a reward feature where one is available. Keep bot tokens and other secrets in the appropriate configuration fields and do not expose them publicly.
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on the evidence and severity, NexusHost may issue a warning, stop or restrict a workload, suspend an account, remove a bot, or apply a network restriction. Urgent security or service-stability issues may require action without advance notice. Accounts can be suspended even when they do not own any bots.
Possible account-link alerts are investigation leads, not automatic bans. Staff actions are subject to role permissions and review controls. Only the owner may apply, approve, or lift a network ban; other team members may request one. A network ban can affect other people using that network.
Appeal at https://appeal.gg/HMAKgkmwkY. Explain which account or bot is affected, the decision you dispute, and any relevant evidence. Do not create another account to bypass the restriction. An accepted appeal still requires the appropriate NexusHost review and restoration action; submitting or accepting a form does not automatically restore website access or bot data.
